As technology has advanced, so too has the range of printing methods at our disposal.
Each printing method can be suited to different needs.
The range of printing options means businesses can choose which one to use to best meet their requirements.

Different printing methods we use

Flex foil

This is printed using a single-colour film, available in many colours and types. The design is transferred to a plotter that cuts the foil in a mirror image, and then the design is transferred to the material using industrial presses at high temperatures.

Why flex foil?

  • Print durability: moderately durable
  • Print fabric: any fabric
  • Possible effects: glitter, gold, silver, reflective, neon
  • Personalisation possibilities: unlimited
  • Minimum run: at least 1 piece
  • Other features: sublimation flex film (for sportswear) works with the fabric
  • Washing and care: up to 40°C, inside out, at low speed, do not machine dry
  • Available in many types of Flex Foils.

What you should know:

  • Not suitable for multi-coloured designs and a large number of small items

Flock foil

Flock foil has a fine suede texture and great colour depth due to the fine cellulose fibres on its surface. The print is fixed onto the material using an industrial press at a high temperature.

Printing with flock foil (up to 420 microns) is even several times thicker than with flex foil (50-170 microns).

Why flock foil?

  • Print durability: moderately durable
  • Print fabric: almost any fabric
  • Possible effects: striking suede texture and depth of colour, perfect for single-colour prints
  • Personalisation possibilities: unlimited
  • Minimum run: at least 1 piece
  • Other features: wide range of colours
  • Washing and care: up to 40°C, inside out, at low speed, do not machine dry

What you should know:

  • Not suitable for multi-coloured photos and designs and a large number of small elements

DTF Print

This technique involves transferring the digital print from the film to the product using industrial presses at a high temperature. The method is ideal for most materials for hard-to-reach areas.

Why DTF?

  • Print durability: moderately durable
  • Print fabric: most fabrics
  • Possible effects: full colour print, tonal gradients
  • Personalisation possibilities: unlimited
  • Minimum run: at least 1 piece
  • Other features: enables precise reproduction of even small design elements and colour depth, can be used in hard-to-reach areas, the number of colours does not affect the price
  • Washing and care: up to 40°C, inside out, at low speed, do not machine dry

What you should know:

  • The maximum width of the print is 45 cm
  • It can be used on fabrics that do not melt at 160°C

Sublimation Print

Sublimation printing is a typical method of printing on sportswear.

It is done with special inks, applied to transfer paper and then, under pressure from a high-temperature press, onto clothes made of white polyester fabric.

Sublimation is a chemical process. When the transfer paper is pressed against the fabric in a heated press, the dyes contained in the inks are heated and change their state of aggregation from solid to gaseous, and the fabric fibres open up. As a result of these changes, the dyes penetrate the fibres instead of being deposited on the surface.

When the effect of the high temperature ceases, the fibres close again, permanently absorbing the sublimation dye. The result of the process is an image ‘printed’ into the fabric – clear and very durable, but not perceptible to the touch.

Why sublimation?

  • Durability of the print: most durable, similar to embroidery
  • Print fabric: polyester
  • Possible effects: perfect reflection of multi-coloured designs and details
  • Personalisation possibilities: unlimited
  • Minimum run: at least 1 piece
  • Other features: the fabric is breathable and air-permeable after sublimation, and the print is not perceptible to the touch.
  • Washing and care: as recommended by the clothes manufacturer, inside out, machine dryable

What you should know:

  • This is a method for printing white polyester materials only. On coloured materials, only black printing is possible
  • In the case of personalisation, each graphic file must be supplied separately
