What is DTF?

Have you heard of DTF? Or DTF transfer printing?
Of the incredible number of possibilities this new transfer printing process offers? That the print on transfer foil adheres to almost all heat-resistant and smooth surfaces? And the print production runs promptly and is particularly cost-effective? Therefore, DTF has what it takes to become the new standard in textile finishing processes!

The DTF printing process – Digital Transfer Film or Direct Transfer Film

Our DTF printing machines apply the color to specially coated transfer foils using inkjet printing. Almost at the same time, the white ink is applied. The still wet application of paint is coated with a layer of thermal powder. The printed image then dries quickly. The mirror-inverted motif is then transferred to textiles or other solid materials using a thermal transfer press.
Did you know already? Printing on our machines is possible in white and CYMK color space.

For whom are DTF transfer prints suitable?

DTF transfer prints are ideal for entrepreneurs / textile finishers who value high quality and inexpensive order processing when printing shirts and other textiles.
This cheap and simple method of textile finishing is also suitable for merchandising bands, clubs and groups. Whether for individual motifs, small quantities or mass production: Due to the rapid production process, we can handle short-term inquiries from our B2B customers. The number of copies doesn’t matter to us.
Order small quantities for the timely finishing of the textiles or in bulk: A long storage of the DFT prints is not a problem.
DTF is the NEW standard in classic textile finishing!

Choose textiles made of cotton, polyester, mixed fabrics or other smooth surfaces such as wood and leather for finishing.
Place the transfer on the backing fabric.
Press the motif firmly for about 15 seconds at 140°C with a thermal transfer press. For polyester and nylon, reduce the temperature to 120°C.
After the pressing process, pull off the transfer film cold – lukewarm.
Et.. Voila!

Whichever surface you choose – the decisive factor is that the surface is smooth and heat-resistant, since the motifs are applied under high temperatures and pressure.
The printed image is incredibly durable: due to its composition, it is stretchy, tear-resistant and washable at up to 60 degrees..
